The Kenbe La Foundation Charitable Trust has been established by Emily Sanson-Réjouis, the wife of Emmanuel K Réjouis, who perished in the Haiti earthquake on 12 January 2010, along with their daughters Kofie-Jade (5) and Zenzie (3). Emily and youngest daughter Alyahna (2) survived the earthquake, and have returned to Nelson, New Zealand, to be with family.
Emily set up the foundation to realise Emmanuel’s aspiration of providing inspirational educational opportunities for disadvantaged children of his birth-country Haiti, with an emphasis on sports, music, leadership and entrepreneurship.

that donated supplies and resources to the Source of Hope School Appeal. A further update on goods donated will be posted once packing is completed.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of you all - the donations are going to make a huge difference to this school community.
Cash donations are still being welcomed to assist with costs of shipping and for work on erecting the new school facility.
For example, a builder has offered his services free, and the Foundation is looking for sponsorship towards
the costs of his travel and modest accommodation charges.
